Lowell Elementary School “Paint the Playground” Community Initiative

Sandra was a part of a playground improvement committee at Lowell Elementary School. One of the first tasks they took on was giving the existing blacktop design and decoration a facelift by incorporating an inviting color scheme and utilizing interactive graphics. Sandra designed the playground surface to encourage playful movement and group interaction in the absence of grass at this urban school.
